Global Financial Firm located in MISSISSAUGA, ON has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Application Support Analyst Work Mode: Hybrid Pay Rate Range: $ 70.00 - $75.00 Negotiable based upon years of experience Summary: This is a senior technology leadership role responsible for architecting, developing, and delivering enterprise-scale full stack applications.

Work Mode: Not specified Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular/React, microservices, and APIs.

Define and drive architecture standards, engineering best practices, and modernization initiatives.

Design scalable event-driven solutions leveraging Kafka and asynchronous messaging patterns.

Lead technical design reviews, code reviews, and architecture governance across multiple teams.

Provide technical leadership for cloud-native applications, containerization, and platform modernization efforts.

Drive implementation of CI/CD, automated testing, observability, resiliency, and security best practices.

Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Partner with Architecture, Product, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to deliver strategic technology solutions.

Lead resolution of complex production issues, performance bottlenecks, and system scalability challenges.

Ensure compliance with technology risk, security,



and regulatory standards.

Requirements: Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in Java application development.

Proven experience in a Lead Engineer or senior technical leadership role.

Robust experience designing distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.

Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working in Agile environments.

Exposure to GenAI, Agentic AI, MCP, and AI-driven application integration.

Knowledge of cloud modernization and enterprise architecture frameworks.
