KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Create sales and complete the order process, including offering pricing and terms according to established margins and generating sales orders Ensure customers are provided with accurate pricing, inventory, and delivery information Prepare quotations and process orders on behalf of other sales staff when needed Respond to customers requests and inquiries in a timely manner, including advising on detailed product knowledge Manage product lines within the branch, including managing inventory, pricing, product knowledge training, attending national calls, and being accountable for turns and earnings Conduct outside sales calls, oversee inventory management, and monitor commodity market pricing SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred 3-5 years lumber/panel trading and/or buying experience Proven record delivering superior customer service Solid relationship-building skills Able to meet and exceed performance targets Ability to manage inventory turnover and limit aged product Responsibility towards the full cycle of sales, including claim and inventory management Experience making profit-based decisions using data-analysis tools Microsoft Office proficiency Excellent verbal and written communication skills COMPENSATION: Annual Salary $45,000 $55,000 Dental care Extended health care Life insurance RRSP contribution Vision care
