Our hospital has been extensively expanded and upgraded and now incorporates eight fully equipped operating theatres, 40 inpatient beds and a purpose-built Day Surgery Unit.

We offer a range of specialties, including orthopaedics, gynaecology, ophthalmology, neurosurgery, spine, and general surgery specialties.

Comfortable facilities, combined with the very latest in technology and on-site support services, enable independent credentialled medical practitioners to undertake a wide range of procedures.

M te Tranga | About the Role We''re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Theatre team at Southern Cross Hamilton Hospital in a permanent 0.9 FTE role (9 days per fortnight).

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped theatre workplace that supports a diverse range of surgical specialties.

As a valued member of our theatre team, you''ll play a key role in delivering exceptional perioperative care.

Working across both scrub and circulating duties, you''ll help ensure theatre lists run safely and efficiently while supporting patients throughout their surgical journey.

From preparing equipment and maintaining a sterile environment to assisting during procedures and coordinating care, you''ll be an integral part of a team committed to clinical excellence.

You''ll work alongside skilled surgeons, anaesthetists,
