Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement tailored, evidence‑based treatment plans that meet each client’s unique needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, psychologists, educators, and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date client records in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Engage in continuous learning through ongoing professional development and training.
- Educate and empower clients and families with strategies to support communication and swallowing functions.

Education and Experience

- Post‑secondary education: Master’s degree or recognized equivalent in Speech‑Language Pathology.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists or Speech‑Language Pathologists.




- Three years’ experience providing Speech‑Language Pathology services preferred.
- Experience completing in‑home assessments and treatments; knowledge of auto insurance and legal system is an asset, particularly medical/legal report writing.
- Enjoy working with clients of all ages in multiple treatment environments.
- Solid oral and written communication and exceptional interpersonal and decision‑making skills.
- Basic knowledge of personal computers and proficiency with secure email.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Required to provide proof of vaccination against COVID‑19, Hepatitis, seasonal flu, etc., as per provincial regulations; medical exemptions based on Human Rights Code criteria will be considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
