Contribute to community health as an Aquatics Recreation Programmer with the City of Mississauga. Oversee program development, staffing, and safety in aquatic programs to meet diverse community needs.

This permanent role involves planning, implementing, and maintaining various aquatic recreational programs. Under supervision, you will provide excellent customer service, assist part-time staff, and ensure safety standards. Working in a team, you will also engage in budget preparation, administrative support, and occasional special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement aquatic programs and events
- Handle customer inquiries and issues effectively
- Train and guide part-time staff and volunteers




- Manage program-related documentation and marketing materials
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and city policies

Requirements:

- Degree in Recreation or related field and 3 years experience
- Proficiency in Active Net and Microsoft Office
- Valid National Lifeguard and Swim Instructor certifications
- Solid communications skills and attention to detail
- Experience in program evaluations and assessments
