**Position Description**
Reporting to the Principal Investigator and/or Lab Manager, the Assistant Research Technologist is responsible for maintaining the lab website, producing and coordinating the lab podcast, and ensuring consistent, engaging communication of the lab's research, events, and achievements to a broad audience.
**Here's What You'll Get To Do**
Manage and update the laboratory website with news, publications, team profiles, events, and research highlights.

Ensure website content is accurate, current, accessible, and visually engaging.

Coordinate all aspects of the lab podcast, including scheduling guests, preparing episode materials, recording logistics, editing audio, publishing episodes, and promoting new releases.

Create digital content to support podcast episodes, including show notes, graphics, and social media announcements.

Collaborate remotely with faculty, trainees, and staff to gather content and communicate research activities effectively.

Monitor website and podcast performance metrics and recommend improvements to increase audience engagement.

Maintain an organized digital archive of website content, podcast files, and media assets.

Assist with additional science communication and outreach initiatives as needed.
**Here's What You'll Need**
Experience managing websites using content management systems (e.g., Word





Press or similar).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently in a remote work environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common digital collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom, Google Workspace).

Experience in science communication or working in an academic or research environment is an asset.
