Project Specialist Location: Halifax, NS Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent Compensation: $65,000 - $70,000 + bonus opportunities About the Role Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Project Specialist to join their team.

In this role, you will build strong client relationships, manage logistics operations, and ensure a high standard of service delivery across project accounts.

Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries promptlyvia phone and email Coordinate shipments across air, ocean, rail, and ground transportation Manage freight requests, quotes, customs coordination, and documentation Select and communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams Track shipments, resolve issues, and proactively prevent service failures Handle billing processes, including invoice accuracy, cost tracking, and discrepancy resolution Monitor reports, identify exceptions,



and implement corrective actions Maintain accurate records in the freight management system Support SOP development and implementation for new and existing accounts Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency Qualifications 35 years of experience in freight forwarding or project logistics Strong knowledge of transportation modes (air, ocean, ground, rail) Understanding of Canadian customs processes and Incoterms Experience with Cargo
