Job Summary & Key Responsibilities To teach LJSO Topics in Law and Society; currently scheduled for In-Person delivery, Wednesdays and Fridays 0835-0955, in the Winter term (January April) 2027.

The part-time academics duties include responsibility for planning the course, teaching the class, coordinating guest speakers and/or library visits; evaluating the students, and administration relating to the class.

The part time academic must be available for consultation with students outside of class times.

This position will report to the Coordinator of the Law, Justice & Society Program.

Course Description Topics covered within this course will vary from year to year, and may include alternative theories and approaches to justice; law and social media; the role of law in social inequalities; and human rights issues.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position Graduate degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related discipline.

Ability to teach effectively at the university level.

This is a special topics class to be designed by the instructor.
