Location: Paradise Branch (may be Grand Falls to Corner Brook area) Day Shift position: 5x2 (Monday - Friday) The wage for this role is between $44.04 to $48.98, depending on years of experience.

Your role: Determine the extent of repairs and perform mechanical repairs accordingly by ordering necessary parts.

Adjust, repair andor replace the defective parts manually or with appropriate tool.

Try the equipment repaired making sure repairs are performed correctly according to manufacturers procedures.

Clean, grease equipment and perform other required maintenance.

Respect the times established to make the repairs.

Inform the Operations Manager of all the repairs required on the unit and of any concerns the customer may have.

Maintain a clean and secure working environment.

Write up time sheets and job descriptions on work performed.





Keep track of time and mileage on repair jobs.

Assure that old parts are disposed of properly and warranty parts are clean and stored in its proper place.

Tools are clean, kept in proper condition and place both in the shop and service vehicle.

Give estimates for repairs when requested by the customer.

Working in conjunction with the Sales and Parts Representative.

Participating in training and upgrading both in-house and outside the company.

To perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

What you bring: Must be certified with a Mechanical Certificate in Heavy Equipment Repair (Red Seal) Minimum of 5.5 years of experience Must have pertinent experience with construction equipment or equivalent equipment and knowledge of Komatsu products preferable Computer literacy would be an asset (MS-Office), autonomous, team spirit customer service oriented Join SMS Equipment and experience a career where the right partnership makes everything possible.
