Position: Part-Time Customer Service Specialist

For over 18 years, Around The Block has been a go-to destination in our 7,000-square-foot retail showroom, offering a curated mix of high-end antiques and stylish contemporary home furnishings. We pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service and the unique finds we bring to our niche clientele.

ABOUT YOU:
You’re a practical problem solver who thrives in a lively, ever-changing setting. You bring a strong sense of organization, prioritize tasks effectively, and love switching between responsibilities every day. Your positive, can-do attitude makes you a perfect fit for our tight-knit team, and your interpersonal skills ensure that every customer leaves happy.

You’ll excel at keeping our front desk organized and running smoothly, even during busy weekend rushes. You’re experienced with POS systems, can juggle multiple tasks,



and will step in where help is needed to ensure excellent service all around.

A keen eye for merchandising and design is a plus! You’re not just about selling — you understand how to make our varied and eclectic inventory shine. You appreciate a wide range of aesthetics and can see the beauty in every item, from vintage treasures to contemporary gems.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

A positive attitude and enthusiasm for customer service

Flexibility to take on various tasks

Experience working with POS systems and handling cashier duties

A good eye for merchandising and product presentation
