Job Description We are looking for an Electrical QC Inspector for a contract position in Vancouver, BC.
The contract is to start immediately and would last until the end of November 2026 with a possibility of an extension .
Scope of work: Supervision of I/O checks Supervision of insulation tests Supervision of cable markings etc.
Supervision of commissioning activities Collection & verification of documentation against ITP Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection results, including any issues found.
Recording inspection results and any non-conformities Investigating Non-Conformities identifying causes and assisting in corrective actions.
Ability to communicate effectively with welders, engineers, and other personnel.
Qualifications At least one of the following: Certified (Red Seal)
Electrical or Electrical Engineer (Quality Inspector) Five to ten (5 - 10) years industrial Electrical related inspection experience.
Five (5) of these years should be in Quality Assurance / vendor surveillance / shop inspections Industrial experience in Oil & gas / Power & Utility / Construction / Manufacturing, etc.
Additional details: Length of contract: 2 yrs Type of contract: sub-contractor agreement Work schedule and hours of work: 5 days / week.
Up to 10 hrs / day (Monday to Friday) Pay Rate: $45 / hr. to $50 / hr.
