Elementary &High; School Teachers Gain valuable teaching experience! Oxford Learning Kerrisdale iscurrently seeking part-time teacher-tutors for roles in our learning centre for thecurrent school year (2026-2027).

Position Overview: As a Teacher-Tutor at Oxford Learning, you will have the prospect to work with Elementary students in reading, writing, math and French and/or with
High Schoolstudents inmath (through Calculus), physics, chemistry, biology, and English.
Our Teacher-Tutors do not have to worry about lesson planning, as all lessons are pre-planned.
You will be fully trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods, allowing you to focus on what you do best teaching! Position Requirements Summer: 2-4 weekdays - we are open 9am-6pm School year: 2-4 weekdays 3:30pm - 6:30pmand possible Saturday mornings This role is in-person.
You must be able to commute to this location.
This is not an online position.
Vulnerable sector is mandatory.
We encourage you to apply if you have the majority of the following requirements: Education : Bachelors degree or similar certification in a relevant field University students with tutoring experience will be considered Working towards or having a teaching certification is an asset Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to high school curriculum Experience: Some experience teaching/tutoring at a Kindergarten to Grade 12 (or equivalent)
level Strong English written and oral communication skills and ability to guide students'' understanding The ability to teach French is also highly desired Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time Responsibilities: As a teacher, you will: Teach up to 3 students at a time (Teach up to 3 students at a time in Elementary grades or up to 2 students at a time in Grades9 - 12) Follow the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies Complete daily student communication updates and monthly progress reports Maintain a friendly and professional demeanour at all times (create a fun learning environment) If you are ready to join a dynamic team dedicated to empowering students and making a difference in their lives, we encourage you to apply for the Teacher-Tutor position at Oxford Learning.
