As a Heavy Duty Mechanic with IMT, youll troubleshoot and perform running repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems and perform preventative maintenance across a wide range of Caterpillar Mining Equipment.

Your work will include: Trouble shoot, repair and maintain CAT equipment in a field environment Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.

Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required Completing required paperwork andmaintainingclear customer communication Specific Skills & Experience Interprovincial Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification Red Seal Off Road certificate required Valid drivers license with a successful recent drivers abstract 3+ yearsexperience as a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment

Technician, with demonstrated time in the field, mining operations is an asset Strong skills in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be beneficial Transmission or Hydraulic testing experience Previous gas engine and power generation experience wouldbe considered an asset Key Details:



This position is based on a 14x14 continuous shift rotation Up to $1,000 / rotation travel allowance to get to marshalling point (tax free) A condition of employment includes the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respiratorwhere applicable Union Membership: This is a unionized position.

Union dues will be deducted from your pay upon hire.
