On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst: Digital Transformation to join our Client's team on a Contract basis. This role is Hybrid and the Client is based in Richmond, BC.

Summary of the Role

Our Client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of enterprise digital products and technology solutions. Working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams, the successful candidate will lead business analysis, requirements management, solution validation, quality assurance, and release readiness activities to ensure secure, scalable, and business-focused technology solutions are successfully delivered.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Lead stakeholder workshops, business process analysis, and requirements gathering activities.
- Develop business requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Create and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Validate solution functionality, integrations, automated workflows, and business outcomes.
- Support Agile delivery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release management activities.
- Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD deployments, release validation, and production readiness.
- Track defects, risks, issues, and quality assurance activities through resolution.
- Produce business analysis documentation, release readiness materials, and operational support artifacts.

Core Requirements

- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, QA Analyst, Product Owner, or a similar role.
- Solid experience with business analysis, requirements management, business process analysis, solution validation, and software testing.
- Experience supporting Agile software delivery teams and product development lifecycles.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar work management platforms.
- Knowledge of DevOps,



CI/CD pipelines, release management, deployment validation, and enterprise technology initiatives.

Desired Skills & Experience

- Experience supporting AI-enabled, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with Generative AI, Copilot, workflow orchestration, or intelligent automation technologies.
- Experience validating automated workflows, integrations, and AI-generated outputs.
- Experience working within Azure Cloud, DevOps, or DevSecOps environments.
- CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, CSPO, ISTQB, Agile BA, or similar professional certifications.

Terms

This is a 12-month contract opportunity based in Richmond, BC. The position follows a Hybrid work arrangement requiring onsite attendance three days per week in Richmond. A background check and reference check will be required prior to hire. As this is a contract opportunity, compensation and benefits are not included.
