We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a team-oriented corporate team in Abbotsford, British Columbia.

In this role, you will oversee core accounting operations for multiple entities while supporting accurate reporting, compliance, and informed business decisions.

Responsibilities: Oversee accounting activities across a portfolio of companies, ensuring records are complete, accurate, and current.

Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and supporting reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Monitor day-to-day financial transactions, investigate discrepancies, and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.





Administer payroll processing and complete related reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate employee payments.

Coordinate statutory remittances and respond to inquiries from government bodies, vendors, and internal contacts as needed.

Conduct financial reviews and project-based analysis to support planning, performance tracking, and operational decisions.

Complete intercompany entries, post adjustments, and reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts on a regular basis.

Maintain year-end files and working papers to support audit preparation and annual reporting requirements.

Partner with the Controller on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning activities.

Provide guidance to accounting staff, helping prioritize work, meet deadlines, and strengthen technical capabilities.
