Location: Chilliwack, BCJob Status: Full Time Permanent

Compensation: $42.25/hr for a ticketed mechanic

Pension: $4.30/hr 100% paid by Arrow

Benefits: Full Benefits including dental, life insurance, pharmaceutical, vision care, chiropractor, massage, EAP, and more - 100% paid by Arrow

Schedule: Monday - Thursday| 3:15pm - 1:15am | 10 hrs

Boot allowance and all other PPE supplied including coveralls100% insurance coverage on tools4 bay shop with 2 pits

We are looking for experienced Red Seal

Mechanic to join our Arrow family at our Chilliwack, BC branch.

As an Arrow mechanic, you will perform skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of tractors, trailers and mobile equipment.

Maintain protected working conditions and adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations

Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuriesin a timely mannerto the supervisorin order tofacilitateprompt correction or reporting

Maintain a clean and orderly work environment

Provide routine maintenanceon tractors,



trailers and mobile equipment such as forklifts and loaders

Check all equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment todetect faults and malfunctions

Diagnose defects inall equipment

Diagnose any faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment todetermineextent of repair that isrequired

Perform incidental weldingrepairson equipment

Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service

Perform mechanical repairs on equipment in the shop and road calls whenrequired

Operate automotive servicing equipment, e.g. A/C recycler, etc

Ability tooperatethe equipment that is serviced i.e. bring trucks,trailersand mobile equipment in and out of the shop.

May require a Class 1 driving license

Installation of new and added-on equipment

Electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting diagnostics and repair

Ability toeffectively and efficiently prioritize daily work

Repair cooling, and lubrication systems

Diagnose and repair mechanical transmissions,drive-trainsand final drives

Test repaired equipment for proper performance

Clean,



lubricate andperform other maintenance work

Instruct apprentices

Accurate completion of work orders andtime cards

Keep detailed andaccuratemaintenance reports and documentation

Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques

Complying withall rules and regulations, protocols andestablishedmetrics

Follow all workplace safety policies and compliance regulations,participateinidentifyinghazards

Abilityto understand cross trainingon all functions at facility Other mechanical repair work asrequired

Red Seal, or equivalent qualification

Appropriate credentials and certifications

Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program Certification (CVIP) Proven mechanical abilities in hydraulics and electrical, including schematics and diagnostics

Experience with routine maintenance operations

Demonstratesstrong communicationskills both verbally and written

Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment

Able to work well under pressure

Strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail

Computer literate

Must pass physical to ensurebona fidejob requirements can be fulfilled
