My mom has been diagnosed with dementia and requires assistance with being reminded to take her medications, eat, and do basic personal hygiene (brushing teeth, bathing, washing hair, putting on deodorant).

Meals would be prepared and would just need reheating.

She is still mobile and coherent.

Some housekeeping (dishes, vacuuming, washing floors, laundry) would also be very helpful.

Ideally, a few hours in the morning and a few around supper time into the evening would be wonderful, although we are open to other options. 5 days a week would work for now.

She is also hard of hearing, even with hearing aids.

We require someone who is patient, attentive, and able to see what is required to make mom more comfortable and happy and carry that out.

The suitable candidate would have knowledge and experience dealing with dementia patients.

We offer competitive compensation of $25 per hour for the right person.

We are approximately 30 minutes from St Paul and Two Hills, and 40 minutes from Vermilion. I live on the same property and my brother is 1/4 mile away, so someone is available with any questions or concerns.
