The RCMP Detachment is presently being reconstructed, and the RCMP staff are temporarily working out of a small trailer.

Intent of the process This process will initially be used to staff one position on a temporary basis, and create a pool of qualified candidates.
This pool of qualified candidates may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.
Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

nicnp--grc.gc.ca Conditions of employment Reliability Status security clearance - RCMP Enhanced Reliability Status (ERS) security clearance. NOTE: Successful candidates will require a valid RCMP security clearance prior to appointment and throughout the tenure of their employment.
The process to obtain RCMP security clearance involves a security/reliability interview and a field investigation regarding matters of criminal activity which includes reference checks, verification of credit/financial status, education, employment, etc.
As such, the process may take several weeks or months to complete.

Ex1 - Experience in providing administrative support services**Administrative support services can include: coordinating and scheduling appointments, meetings and teleconferences; assisting with arranging travel and accommodations; preparing, transcribing and processing a variety of correspondence, reports and documentation; preparing and distributing mail; providing reception services, referring callers and visitors to the appropriate areas, conducting photocopying/scanning activities,
maintain office equipment, etc.
Ex2- Experience providing service to internal or external clients / general public, via telephone or in person.
