Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HET to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust mechanical aptitude and experience in maintaining and repairing various types of On-Road Heavy equipment such as Highway Tractors, Trailers, B-trains etc.

Duties

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on highway equipment, including Kenworth, Peterbilt, Western Star Tractor's and various makes of B-train trailer set ups.
- Perform CVIP Inspections.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand equipment layouts and functions.
- Conduct heavy lifting as necessary to move equipment or components during repairs.
- Operate forklifts and or skidsteers safely to transport materials and equipment within the facility.
- Weld components as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed on equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

- Held a Red Seal ticket for 3 years or more, or an Alberta Journeyman for 3+ Years.
- Proven experience as an HET working with On-Road equipment.
- Valid CVIP License.




- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the workday.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes.
- Experience operating forklifts/skidsteers is preferred; certification is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay: $160,000.00-$225,000.00 per year
