Our client, a leader in promoting tourism in Canada, is looking for detail-oriented and organized Program Coordinator to support the administration and delivery of funding, partnership, or stakeholder-based programs. This role is responsible for coordinating application processes, reviewing submissions, supporting funding or project decisions, maintaining program records, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful program delivery. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Location: Downtown Vancouver
Salary: $33.00-$38.00/hr, based on a 35 hour work week
Term: 3 month with potential for extension
Primary responsibilities:
- Coordinate the administration and day-to-day delivery of funding, grant, contribution, or partnership programs.
- Manage the intake, review, and assessment of applications, proposals, or submissions to ensure compliance with established eligibility requirements and program guidelines.
- Support decision-making processes by preparing documentation, tracking evaluations, and communicating outcomes to applicants or stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of applications, agreements, funding commitments, project milestones, and program results.
- Coordinate contracts, agreements, and related administrative processes with internal departments and external partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Legal, Operations, and other stakeholders to support program administration and reporting.
- Monitor program performance and prepare reports, summaries, and recommendations as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, enhance efficiency, and support the implementation of process improvements.
- Provide excellent service and communication to applicants, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience administering grants, funding programs, contributions, contracts, partnerships, or similar initiatives.
- Minimum 2 years of experience reviewing and evaluating applications, proposals, or requests against established criteria, policies, and procedures.
- Experience coordinating projects, agreements, or initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to learn new systems, databases, and technology platforms quickly.
