Our client is seeking a Small Animal Locum Veterinarian to support a busy veterinary practice offering comprehensive medical and surgical care in a well‑equipped clinical environment. This locum role is suitable for experienced veterinarians who appreciate variety in caseload and flexible work arrangements while maintaining high standards of patient care.The successful clinician will join an established team providing tailored care for pets of all temperaments and circumstances, working in a contemporary facility with both small and large animal services available. The position allows visiting veterinarians to practise confidently, contribute clinical expertise, and engage with a supportive staff.Responsibilities




Providing detailed medical assessments and preventative healthcarePerforming routine surgical procedures and dental workManaging diagnostic and imaging services effectivelyCommunicating treatment plans clearly and compassionately to clientsCollaborating with support staff to maintain efficient clinical workflowQualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent qualificationEligibility for veterinary licensure in British ColumbiaProven small animal clinical experience in general practiceExcellent communication skills and professional demeanourComfort working independently and adapting to varying caseloadsPackage
