Corel Corporation seeks a full‑time Senior User Experience Designer to create exceptional user experiences for our world‑class Graphics portfolio. The enthusiastic and talented individual in this key position will report to the Director of Product Design and will be accountable for crafting experiences that delight millions of users across the globe. This position is remote work friendly with a Design and User Assistance team located primarily in Ottawa, Canada. The candidate should be willing and able to travel to Ottawa if needed.Responsibilities
Provide design leadership and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environmentClearly communicate compelling design solutions using a variety of media and channels, including case definition, wireframes, mockups, stories and presentationsCreate and maintain design systems within standard UX toolsActively engage with users to understand user behavior, needs and motivations through observation, interviews and feedback collectionSynthesize and translate customer and business inputs into meaningful requirementsAssess and optimize the performance of current and existing features by conducting and interpreting research analytics data pointsAct as the UX lead in scrums and assist Product Management in prioritizing work itemsCollaborate with cross‑functional teams and scrums to ensure designs align with business priorities, intended functionality and goalsWork with Product Management and R&D; to break down requirements into manageable components to be delivered on schedule,



at the right level of user value and qualityStay updated with the latest developments in AI and user experience design to create innovative, cutting‑edge designsEvolve the workflows and interaction of all solutions based on new user and business inputs and expectationsCraft journey and empathy mapsDevelop prototypes to test and visualize the user experienceQualifications
