What you will be doing: Design and develop electrical wiring systems for control panels, switchgear, and protection equipment, including schematics, single-line and three-line diagrams, cable sizing, BOMs, and assembly documentation using AutoCAD or other software Specify and select electrical components in compliance with project requirements, the Canadian Electrical Code, CSA C22.2 No. 31, and utility/customer standards Estimate materials, prepare charge sheets, and support procurement processes Provide technical guidance to shop floor personnel to ensure accurate and efficient assembly Conduct and review power system studies using SKM or ETAP, including short circuit, coordination, and arc flash analysis Program protective relays and PLCs for power distribution and control applications Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and coordination with utilities, clients, and regulatory bodies Professionally seal electrical design documents (for P.
Eng. applicants) for client and regulatory submittals Perform site visits for design validation, field data collection, and installation planning Manage and organize project files and documentation according to internal standards Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on technical details and project goals Maintain safety, quality, and compliance standards across all work Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other tasks as needed to meet company objectives What you must have:
