Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive electrical experience, including residential, commercial and industrial projects, and be capable of working independently to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring technical expertise in both low voltage and high voltage systems within a dynamic environment.

Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and installation tasks
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings, including machinery, control panels, and wiring infrastructure
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to perform precise electrical work
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools to identify root causes efficiently
- Conduct renovation projects involving existing electrical systems to improve safety and functionality
- Work with low voltage systems such as security alarms, communication lines, and automation controls
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to local electrical codes during installation and repair activities




- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or upgrades to ensure seamless integration of electrical components
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment

Requirements

- Valid journeyperson electrician license or certification
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a solid background in construction and renovation projects
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, PLCs, and low voltage systems
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile problem-solving skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 44.0 per week
