Junior Technician

Quality Sound Alarm is hiring a Junior Technician to join our team.

Quality Sound Alarm has been serving Atlantic Canada since 1971, providing life safety and security solutions for healthcare, education, government, commercial, and residential clients.

We are looking for a motivated Junior Technician with an electrical background who is eager to learn and interested in building a career in the life safety and security industry. This is a great opportunity for someone coming out of an electrical program, or an apprenticeship program who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and being part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior technicians with the installation, service, and maintenance of life safety and security systems

Help with fire alarm, security, access control, CCTV, nurse call, and communication system projects

Run, pull, and terminate cabling as required

Support testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of systems

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Provide professional and respectful service while on customer sites

Follow company procedures, safety standards, and project instructions

Qualifications

Electrical background,



electrical program, or apprenticeship experience preferred

Previous experience in electrical, low-voltage, construction, or technical work is considered an asset

Comfortable working from ladders and lifts

Willingness to learn and take direction from senior technicians

Comfortable using basic hand and power tools

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Reliable, punctual, and professional

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid driver’s license is required
