Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items with precision, consistency, and flair
- Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure quality dishes every time
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Ensure all food served meets safety standards and proper temperature guidelines
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent food service experiences
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Robust understanding of food handling safety practices and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
- Familiarity with meal preparation, serving procedures, and kitchen equipment
- Passion for the food industry with a desire to learn and develop culinary skills
