In this vital role, you will be on the front lines of our daily operations, ensuring our high-quality seafood products meet the strictest safety and excellence standards from dock to delivery. Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Receiving: Safely unload totes from fishing vessels and trucks (forklift use required) and transport raw fish and shellfish to designated work areas.
Processing & Sorting: Inspect, sort, and grade raw seafood materials by size and quality for transfer to live tanks.
Specialized Handling: Band crab claws for safe handling and carefully pack crabs and other seafood for both local distribution and overseas export.
Shipping & Administration: Load finished products onto trucks for shipment and accurately record daily production data.
Quality & Safety Assurance: Maintain immaculate cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas, tools, and equipment to meet health standards.
Process Improvement: Strictly follow all food handling,
sanitation, and mechanical safety protocols, and actively support continuous improvement initiatives by adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous experience in the seafood industry is an asset, but we are fully willing to train the right candidate!
Attention to Detail: A strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and product quality.
Team Player: Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative environment and follow detailed instructions accurately.
Physical Capabilities: Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with the physical ability to stand for extended periods and safely perform repetitive, hands-on tasks.
