Fox On John is seeking a hardworking individual for the position of Bartender.

Fox On John is a neighborhood restaurant celebrating classic British fusion cuisine. The menu evokes feelings of nostalgia and timeless comfort in a warm and familiar space; showcasing the best of bold British cuisine with refined classics and indulgent signatures. Fox On John provokes a feeling of intimacy as an extension of the family home with a versatile function.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Execute the smooth and flawless operation of the Bar and Restaurant
- Complete all bartender duties when necessary
- Develop a complete working knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients and preparation
- Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served in the bar
- Assist with beverage procurement, beverage costing
- Prepare beverages, accurately to recipe specs, and mix and match ingredients in innovative ways
- Answer questions about food, beverages, wine and other restaurant functions and services
- Ensure proper pouring, mixing, blending of drinks in line with AGCO legislations
- Monitor bar opening and closing duties
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Maintain Healthy and Safety standards of the Bar
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

Pay: $17.60 per hour

- Are you comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced environment with high drink volume and limited bar space?
- Are you comfortable being scheduled on weekends, holidays, TIFF, sports nights, and other major downtown events?
