Responsibilities

- Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Assist in food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning dishes under supervision
- Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies and maintaining a tidy work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients and equipment
- Help with meal prep activities during busy hours to facilitate smooth service flow
- Maintain inventory levels of dishware, utensils,



and cleaning supplies; notify management of supply needs
- Contribute positively to team efforts by staying motivated, adaptable, and proactive in supporting kitchen operations

Requirements

- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices and adherence to sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and focus
- Basic understanding of food preparation techniques such as chopping, measuring, or assembling ingredients
- Strong commitment to cleanliness, organization, and safety within a quick-paced kitchen setting
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration and learning new skills
- Familiarity with serving procedures or previous restaurant experience is a plus but not mandatory
