We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced GenAI Lead / Developer to join a growing technology team in Toronto. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge Generative AI solutions, build scalable AI applications, and contribute to enterprise AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI applications using up-to-date AI frameworks and best practices.
- Build scalable backend services using Python (FastAPI, Flask, asyncio, pandas, etc.).
- Develop AI-powered solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), embeddings, vector databases, and transformer-based architectures.
- Integrate AI applications with AWS cloud services and serverless technologies.
- Optimize AI solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality AI products.
- Implement secure, compliant, and Responsible AI practices.
- Participate in technical design, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
- Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Flask, asyncio, pandas, etc.).




- Hands-on experience with AWS services related to AI/ML and serverless architectures.
- Strong understanding of:
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Transformers
- Embeddings
- Vector Databases
- Generative AI concepts
- Experience with Git, Docker, and containerized application development.
- Experience with Kubernetes or Amazon EKS is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with AI security, compliance, governance, and Responsible AI guidelines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
