We are looking for an experienced and dependable Civil Crew Lead to join our team. This is a hands-on role responsible for leading a small crew on telecom construction projects.

The position focuses on installing telecom infrastructure such as pull boxes, pedestals, and conduit runs, while also supporting coax crews with dig and repairs. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and able to take ownership of projects from start to finish while keeping the crew productive.

Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee a small civil crew on daily job site operations

Install telecom infrastructure including pull boxes, pedestals, and conduit runs

Perform and supervise trenching, digging, and backfilling

Read and interpret prints to ensure work is completed to spec

Plan daily tasks and maintain progress on job sites

Ensure proper setup and organization of work areas, including safety and traffic control

Coordinate with supervisors, and other trades on site

Operate equipment such as mini excavators and skid steers when required

Maintain quality control and ensure clean, professional installations





Follow and enforce all safety protocols and job site regulations

Qualifications & Experience:

Previous experience in telecom or civil construction required

Experience installing pull boxes, conduit, and pedestals preferred

Previous leadership or crew lead experience preferred

Robust understanding of safe digging practices and underground utilities

Ability to read and interpret prints

Equipment operation experience is considered an asset

Valid Class 5 Licence (required)

Physically capable of performing labour-intensive work when needed

Reliable, organized, and able to manage work with minimal supervision
