Applied Industrial Flooring Canada is a leading provider of industrial and commercial flooring solutions across Canada. We specialize in epoxy flooring systems, protective coatings, concrete restoration, polishing, and surface preparation for a wide range of industries.

Position Summary

We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Laborers to join our Manitoba flooring installation team. This position is ideal for individuals interested in construction and industrial flooring who are eager to learn specialized skills in epoxy floor installation and concrete surface preparation.

The successful candidate will assist experienced installers with various tasks on construction and industrial job sites while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with surface preparation activities, including grinding, shot blasting, cleaning, and concrete repairs
- Support the installation of epoxy flooring systems, coatings, sealers, and other concrete protection products
- Mix and handle flooring materials according to manufacturer specifications and company procedures
- Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and job site requirements
- Assist with site setup and cleanup activities




- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to complete projects on schedule
- Travel to various job sites within Manitoba and occasionally to other provinces when required
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Previous construction, flooring, or general labor experience is considered an asset
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
- Comfortable working in industrial, commercial, and construction environments
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and out-of-town assignments
- Strong attention to safety and quality standards
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are considered assets
- Basic English communication skills
