Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled experienced Rigger Tower Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients. As a Rigger - Tower Climber, you will be responsible for the safe and effective rigging and tower climbing to install and perform maintenance of cellular equipment and materials, ensuring that all operations comply with safety standards. Your role will be crucial in supporting various projects, including those involving climbing, antenna removal and installation at various locations in the GTA, throughout Ontario including Northern Ontario.

Responsibilities
- Rigging and climbing, securing loads for installation and maintenance of cellular equipment using various equipment such as capstan hoist.
- Collaborate with team members to plan tower rigging operations and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Inspect rigging equipment to ensure it is in good working condition before use.
- Communicate effectively with crew members and clients regarding project requirements and updates.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in training new employees on rigging techniques and safety practices.
- Other civil construction operations including but not limited to rooftop site builds, re-roofing (temporary equipment relocation), monopole site builds, LMRN upgrades
Experience
- Proven experience as a Rigger Tower Climber or in a similar role within the construction or cellular construction industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to rigging/tower climbing equipment and techniques.
- Ability to communicate effectively and able to submit required paperwork in a timely fashion.
- Familiarity with tower climbing a must.
- Knowledge of civil construction including, in-builds, rooftops, ground sites and towers would be considered an asset.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
- A commitment to safety practices and the ability to recognize potential hazards on-site.
- Work will be in the GTA, as well as other parts of the province including Northern Ontario. Travel will necessary with extended stays in the area (minimum 2 weeks) at a time.
- Training certification including Fall Arrest, Working and Heights and High Angle Rescue is mandatory.
- Safety is our first priority and it is imperative that you put the safety of yourself and the crew forefront.
- Background checks will be mandatory for clearance purposes including a clean drivers abstract.
- Preference will be given to those with an active LMRN Level 4 Clearance
