About Us

KC Food Products Ltd. is a local Edmonton food company specializing in Asian-inspired frozen foods, including spring rolls, marinated meats, sauces, and ready-to-cook products.

We attend farmers markets, local events, and in-store food demonstrations throughout Edmonton and surrounding communities.

This is a fun, active, customer-facing role where you will meet new people, explore different areas around Edmonton, and be part of a small, friendly local food business. For the right person, this position may become a long-term opportunity with KC Food Products.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and outgoing team member to represent KC Food Products at farmers markets, events, and in-store food demonstrations.

You will help set up our booth, interact with customers, hand out food samples, explain our products, and sell our frozen food products from a market tent or demo table.

This role is a great fit for someone on a Working Holiday Visa who enjoys food, people, travel, and exploring new places while gaining Canadian work experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Represent KC Food Products in a friendly and professional way.
- Set up and take down market booth equipment.
- Interact with customers and answer basic product questions.
- Hand out food samples.
- Sell KC Food Products at farmers markets, events, and in-store demos.




- Transport market equipment and products to different work locations.
- Keep the booth, sample area, and equipment clean and organized.
- Follow food safety procedures at all times.
- Work at various markets, store locations, rural events, and our main food production site.

Requirements

Applicants must:

- Hold a valid Working Holiday Visa or have legal authorization to work in Canada.
- Have a valid international driver’s licence.
- Be comfortable driving in Edmonton and surrounding areas.
- Be able to communicate clearly and confidently in English with customers.
- Be friendly, reliable, hardworking, and comfortable talking to people.
- Be able to lift and carry 25–40 pounds.
- Be available to work weekends, weekdays, and some holidays depending on market schedules.
- Hold a valid recognized Canadian Food Handler Certificate, or be willing to complete one.
- Be interested in a possible long-term opportunity with KC Food Products.

If you do not currently have a Canadian Food Handler Certificate, you will be required to complete the certification course. KC Food Products will reimburse the cost of the course after one month of employment.

What We Offer

- $17.00 per hour plus 3% monthly net commission.
- Possible wage or commission increase depending on performance.




- Approximately 20–35 hours per week.
- Monthly taxable living allowance up to a maximum of $300 for candidates on a working visa.
- Company vehicle provided for work use and limited approved personal use, subject to company restrictions for candidates on a working visa.
