Must have car and valid driving license
Duties
- Support residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding to ensure nutritional needs are met
- Engage residents in social activities and companionship to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning and sanitation routines
- Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals
- Support individuals with disabilities or dementia by providing tailored care that respects their dignity and independence
Qualifications
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred
- Knowledge of senior care practices, including dementia care and medication administration
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning, meal preparation, and other household tasks as needed
- Certification or training in caregiving or related fields is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
