Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise entry
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all payments
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld by following proper food handling procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant flow




- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed and maintain cleanliness in dining areas and service stations
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment

Requirements

- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Valuable time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential
