Experienced Residential Cleaner – Part-Time Independent Contractor

Starting rate: $20 per hour | Paid every Friday | Paid trial day

Lavender & Sage Co. is a women-led residential cleaning company based in Airdrie, Alberta. We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and highly detail-oriented residential cleaner to join our team as an independent contractor.

This is a part-time opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality work, works efficiently, and is interested in building a dependable, long-term working relationship with our company.

Mandatory Requirements

Please apply only if you meet all of the following requirements:

- At least 1–2 years of verifiable professional residential cleaning experience
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance
- Able to commute to our designated meeting location in Airdrie during the week
- Available to start at 8:35 a.m., Monday to Friday
- Comfortable driving throughout Airdrie and surrounding communities in different Alberta weather conditions
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Able to provide a valid police information check
- Able to provide professional references
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Comfortable working in homes with dogs, cats, and other household pets
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
- Interested in a stable, long-term opportunity

Occasional Saturday availability may be requested, but Saturdays are not part of the regular weekly schedule.

- Work is primarily located in Airdrie and surrounding communities
- Occasional Saturday work may be offered

Key Responsibilities

- Complete professional residential cleaning services according to company standards
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, floors, and other assigned spaces
- Follow client notes, cleaning checklists, priorities, and special instructions
- Work efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail
- Perform final walkthroughs and quality-control checks before leaving each home
- Take required before-and-after photos
- Handle clients’ homes, belongings, and pets with care and respect
- Maintain a professional appearance and respectful communication
- Arrive on time and communicate promptly regarding any unexpected issue
- Safely travel between homes in Airdrie and surrounding communities
- Work independently while also collaborating effectively with other team members
- Support, guide, and help coordinate team members when assigned a leadership role

- Interested in consistent, long-term work rather than temporary or occasional employment
- Excellent communication skills with prompt responses in the company group chat. Comfortable using sma , GPS, WhatsApp, checklists, time-tracking apps, Google Docs, and other technology required for daily operations.
