Overview

- Financial Management: Plan, control, and organize financial activities, including the use of funds and financial resources
- Accounting and Reporting: Manage accounts payable and receivable, process invoices and journal entries, and assist with the preparation of financial statements and audits
- Reporting: Responsible for completing required reporting for a variety of funders and compliance reporting requirements
- Payroll and Benefits: Process payroll, manage employee enrollment, and handle workers' compensation and T4 slips
- Analysis and advice: Analyze financial data to identify trends and issues and provide technical assistance and advice to department managers
- Reconciliation: Balance and reconcile various general ledger accounts
- Experience:



Requires experience with Non-Profit Organizations and Indigenous Organizations

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience: Several years in finance/accounting, handling AP/AR, budgeting, and reporting
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (e.g. SAGE 300, Paydirt) and MS Excel
- Soft Skills: Solid analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; integrity and ability to work under pressure

Pay: $45.00 per hour
