Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in electrical work, including both residential and industrial settings. This role requires expertise in reading schematics, using power and hand tools, and working with low voltage systems. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for building, renovating, and maintaining electrical systems to ensure safety and functionality.

Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical installations and repairs.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic equipment.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations during all work performed.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects to achieve project goals efficiently.




- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become serious problems.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician or similar role in the electrical field.
- Proficiency in working with various types of electrical systems including low voltage applications.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
- Experience with power tools, hand tools, and other equipment used in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on complex projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
