About the Role

Beaucoup Bakery is looking for an experienced, hands-on Assistant Manager / Manager-in-Training to join our growing multi-location team.

This position will initially be based primarily at our Time Out Market Vancouver location, supporting both our Bakery and Creamery concepts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. As part of Beaucoup Bakery's broader management team, the successful candidate should also be comfortable supporting other Beaucoup Bakery locations based on operational and business needs.

We are looking for someone who is confident leading teams, comfortable making decisions independently, and able to maintain strong service and operational standards during busy periods.

This role will work closely with our executive team and ownership and is ideal for an experienced hospitality leader looking to take on greater responsibility and grow within a multi-location company.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily Bakery and Creamery operations
- Work closely with the executive team and ownership to support operational priorities and company initiatives
- Independently lead the location and make operational decisions when the Store Manager is not present
- Lead, coach, and support team members during daily service
- Manage floor deployment and ensure appropriate staffing during peak periods




- Maintain strong customer service and hospitality standards
- Support scheduling, labour management, and shift coverage
- Help manage call-outs and unexpected staffing challenges
- Monitor daily sales performance and work toward location sales targets
- Support inventory management, ordering, and stock control
- Ensure opening, closing, cleaning, and food-safety procedures are consistently followed
- Support the training and onboarding of new team members
- Address employee and customer concerns professionally
- Communicate operational issues and opportunities to the Store Manager and senior leadership team
- Identify opportunities to improve service speed, efficiency, team performance, and the overall guest experience
- Provide management coverage and operational support at other Beaucoup Bakery locations when required
- Adapt to different store environments, teams, and operational needs across the company

What We're Looking For

- Previous management or supervisory experience in a café, restaurant, bakery, or high-volume hospitality environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Comfortable independently leading a team and making decisions
- Calm and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment




- Solid understanding of customer service and hospitality
- Reliable, organized, proactive, and accountable
- Comfortable taking ownership and solving problems without constant supervision
- Experience with scheduling, labour management, inventory, or ordering is an asset
- Experience with coffee, specialty beverages, bakery, or dessert operations is an asset
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Flexibility to work across different Beaucoup Bakery locations in Metro Vancouver as operational needs evolve
- Ability to adapt quickly to different teams and operating environments

Pay: Up to $58,240.00 per year
