Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our busy restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to food safety standards. Prior experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable kitchen experience and develop skills in food handling, meal preparation, and restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly to ensure cleanliness and availability for food preparation.
- Assist with basic meal and food preparation tasks under the supervision of kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas regularly.
- Organize and store clean dishes and kitchen supplies efficiently.
- Support food handling procedures to adhere to food safety standards.
- Help with general kitchen cleaning duties,



including waste disposal and equipment maintenance.
- Assist in serving guests when needed, ensuring excellent customer service.

Experience

- Previous experience in cooking, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations is advantageous.
- Experience with meal preparation or general kitchen work will be considered a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
