Local fencing company located in Aldergrove, BC is offering a full-time fence installer position.

Experience in the fencing industry is required, ideally looking for a fence foreman.

Position Requirements: Driver's License Transportation to Office M-F Must be physically fit and able to lift minimum of 80 lbs Accuracy and Precision in reading a tape measure General knowledge of basic tools Welding is required.

Job Description: Work day's are M - F Start time is 6:30 am End time varies daily Average 40 hours hr/week - Helping with the construction of all fence types including but not limited to: Chain Link Fence; Ornamental Iron Fence; Hand Rail; Security Fences and Gates.

The fence installer will be managing their own work truck with equipment and supplies.

Establish the location for a fence, and gather information needed to ensure that there are no electric cables or water lines etc in the area.

Measure and lay out fence lines and mark posthole positions,



following instructions, drawings, or specifications.

Dig postholes, using spades, posthole diggers, or power-driven augers.

Mix and pour concrete around bases of posts, or tamp soil into postholes to embed posts.

Align posts, using lines or by sighting, and verify vertical alignment of posts, using levels.

Stretch wire, wire mesh, or chain link fencing between posts, and attach fencing to frames.

Assemble gates, and fasten gates into position, using hand tools.

Weld metal parts together, using portable gas welding equipment.

Position Compensation To be discussed based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
