Sales Assistant

As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible to supporting and Investment Advisor (IA) team in achieving business objectives of profitability, and market share. You will be a key player ensuring client needs are met or exceeded. You will have the opportunity to have a multi-faceted compensation package.

As a Sales Assistant, you will

· Work in a energetic team environment

· Have strong analytical and interpersonal skills

· Deliver service initiatives to the IA’s clients

· Contribute to the IA’s business objectives

· Excel in a client-focused environment

· Collaborate with a variety of cross-functional partners for execution of client requests and creative problem solving

· Open accounts, transfer assets and maintain account documents in order

· Ensure compliance regulations are adhered to

· Be an integral team member responsible for keeping team organized and driving client satisfaction





· Ensure client needs are met or exceeded by resolving complaints in a timely and effective manner

Qualifications and experience

· University degree or equivalent experience 1-3 years

· Computer literacy

· Basic/intermediate knowledge of investment processes and procedures

· Familiarity with investment products

· Strong knowledge of administrative processes and procedures

· Knowledge of compliance and trade processing rules is an asset

· Previous wealth amangement experience would be considered an asset, in particular familiarity with Dataphile, Croesus and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

· CSC and CPH would be preferred

· Current registration as an Investment Representative (IR) would be an asset and willing to become a Registered Representative (RR)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
