Job Summary

The Plant Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations within the facility at ASAP Windows & Doors. This position ensures production efficiency, quality standards, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and ERP systems, with a focus on lean manufacturing and process optimization to drive operational excellence.

Duties

- Lead and manage daily plant operations, ensuring production goals are met efficiently and safely.
- Develop and implement process improvements utilizing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies.
- Oversee supply chain activities, including inventory management, procurement, and logistics coordination using MRP and ERP systems such as SAP.
- Ensure adherence to quality control standards and safety regulations across all departments.
- Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to optimize equipment performance and mechanical systems.
- Drive initiatives related to process standardization, waste reduction, and productivity enhancement.
- Manage staffing, training,



and development of plant personnel to foster a high-performance work workplace.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality metrics, and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align manufacturing strategies with overall business objectives.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in manufacturing management or plant operations within an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of SAP, ERP systems, MRP, and supply chain processes.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and oversee maintenance activities.
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and assembly processes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive organizational change.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for decision-making purposes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field; advanced certifications in Lean or Six Sigma are a plus.
