Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Line Cook / Prep Cook/ Closing Cooks to join our team at our new Flatboy Burgers Location. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients, assembling delicious smash burgers, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities:

Prep Cook Duties:

- Prepare fresh ingredients, including slicing vegetables, portioning meats, and making sauces.
- Maintain prep stations by stocking and organizing ingredients efficiently.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Assist in receiving and storing inventory properly.

Line Cook Duties:

- Cook smash burgers to perfection on a flat-top grill following restaurant standards.
- Assemble burgers with precision, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout shifts.
- Work closely with team members to ensure fast and efficient service.

Closing Cook Duties:

- Complete all tasks on the designated closing list with accuracy and efficiency.




- Thoroughly clean all workstations, cooking equipment, utensils, and floors to meet food safety standards.
- Refill low stock items and prepare ingredients as directed to ensure readiness for the next shift.
- Actively listen to kitchen leads and respond to instructions in a timely and respectful manner.
- As well as all tasks under Line Cook Duties.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
