Via Tevere, Vancouver's award winning pizzeria, is looking for a full time pizza chef on our food truck to join the team. The ideal candidate is passionate about Italian food traditions, has a class 5 drivers license, works efficiently in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in preparing high-quality dishes. Experience in pizza making is highly desirable for this role but the right candidate can be trained for the position.

Schedule

- Tuesday to Friday morning availability 8am-4pm as well as flexibility to pick up catering shifts on the weekend

Key Responsibilities

- Drive food truck
- Load, unload, and clean food truck, equipment, and supplies
- Slice meat using commercial equipment, prepare toppings, and other ingredients according to company recipes and standards.
- Stretch, top, and bake pizzas consistently and efficiently.
- Operate wood fire pizza ovens and kitchen equipment safely.
- Monitor food quality, portion control,



and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and ingredient preparation.
- Follow opening and closing procedures.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and workplace policies.
- Ability to lift up to 50lb

Compensation

- Hourly wage $20-$25 based on experience plus tips

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
