Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation logistics, ensuring timely delivery of freight, and maintaining effective communication between various stakeholders. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain processes and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Duties

- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and manage logistics.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and vendors to resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
- Analyze freight data to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs.
- Handle multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls efficiently while providing excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist in the management of supply chain activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Plan trips taking into account drivers' schedules, unforeseen events and the fair distribution of missions

Skills





- Proficiency in transportation management systems and supply chain processes.
- Experience with 3PL operations is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills for data analysis related to freight management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and external partners.
- Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Solid typing skills for documentation purposes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Saint-Laurent, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
