Job Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its commercial real estate and land development portfolio. This leadership role is responsible for property operations, capital projects, contractor management, budgeting, maintenance planning, and supporting ongoing development initiatives while ensuring operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the daily operations and maintenance of commercial properties and development projects.

Manage operating and capital budgets, preventative maintenance programs, and service contracts.

Oversee contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Support land development and construction projects, including tenant improvements, capital projects, and warranty management.

Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, municipal authorities, consultants, and vendors.

Develop operational efficiencies, ensure regulatory compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.





Provide regular reporting and operational updates to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

Previous operations management experience within commercial real estate, property management, construction, or land development.

Trade or technical background (i.e. electrician, plumber, HVAC, engineering technologist, etc..);

Experience operating/maintaining commercial/retail shopping centers, office buildings and warehouses;

Solid knowledge of building operations, budgeting, contract administration, and project coordination.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Yardi; experience with property management or project management software is considered an asset.

Pay: $130,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
