The Mind-Body (MB) Program Supervisor is responsible for the overall leadership, staffing, and operations of all Mind-Body programming, with a primary focus on Pilates and Yoga, within the Fitness & Lifestyle Centre. This role ensures programs are delivered professionally, effectively, and in alignment with Club standards. The Supervisor is accountable for implementing departmental policies and upholding the Club’s Code of Conduct, mission, vision, and values. The MB Supervisor reports directly to the Fitness Manager in all aspects of the role.

Key Accountabilities

1. Partner with the Fitness Manager to establish the strategic direction, goals, and operational plans for Mind-Body programming

2. Oversee the execution and day-to-day operations of MB programs, classes, and events, ensuring a cohesive approach alongside the Cardio-Strength Mix Program Supervisor

3. Develop and introduce new programs, workshops, and events based on member needs, industry trends, and program evaluation

4. Collaborate with the Fitness Program Supervisor on studio scheduling, booking, and utilization

5. Build and maintain relationships with internal departments and external partners to support program initiatives

6. Recruit, train, schedule, lead, and evaluate instructors

7. Provide emergency class coverage when appropriate to minimize cancellations

8. Ensure all instructor payroll, hiring, evaluation, and termination documentation is accurate and submitted on time

9. Support ongoing instructor development through education opportunities and incentives in collaboration with the Fitness Manager

10. Maintain clear,



consistent communication with all instructors

11. Assist in setting, monitoring, and achieving budget goals

12. Coordinate equipment purchasing, inventory, and maintenance for MB programming

13. Oversee accurate and timely program billing and credits; respond to member billing inquiries

14. Plan and schedule seasonal programming and studio use and contribute to Club communications

15. Contribute to quarterly reports, including program performance, trends, and participation metrics

16. Respond promptly to member and staff feedback, resolving concerns related to programs and services

17. Attend staff meetings and provide relevant updates and reports

18. Support the Fitness leadership team in executing the department’s strategic plan and promoting programs through various communication channels

19. Maintain a high standard of personal fitness to effectively promote and deliver programming, including substituting classes as needed

20. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry standards and best practices

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or related field

2. Current CPR and First Aid certifications

3. 5-10 years related experience

4. Additional certifications and associations in the industry are an asset e.g. certification through CSEP/CPT, AFLCA, Can-Fit-Pro, etc.

5. Advanced certification in Pilates and/or Yoga, with proven experience coaching or supervising instructors within a structured program environment.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
