What you will be doing:

Work with the Kitchen Supervisor in the day-to-day operation of the Farside Grill.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Responsible for taking orders and running the cash register.
- Ensures that excellent customer service is practiced at all times.
- Measures and prepares ingredients for menu items as directed by the Kitchen Supervisor.
- Adhering to Food Safe standards and regulations.
- Set-up, rotate and restock items as per established procedures.
- Assists in the cleaning, washing, sanitation and organization of the front and the kitchen.
- Reports equipment concerns and issues to the Kitchen Supervisor and Operations Director.
- Provide support to the Kitchen Supervisor in completing monthly inventory report.
- Assist in the kitchen or the line as needed.




- Performs additional responsibility as directed by the Kitchen Supervisor or Operations Director at any time.

What will the right person look like?

The ideal candidate for this position is a current student at Red Deer Polytechnic who is outgoing, customer-oriented, and organized. You are comfortable approaching customers and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented workplace.

Your experience includes:

- 1-2 years of post-secondary education.
- Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required.

The details:

- 10-15 hours per week
- $16.00/hour
- Monday - Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Student position - MUST SUBMIT FALL 2026 CLASS SCHEDULE with your application
- Term certain (September - December)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
